How a commission runs
Six months is the comfortable version of this. It gives fabric time to arrive, fittings room to be spaced properly, and you space to change your mind once without anybody panicking.

Six months before
First conversation
We start with a call, almost always online, to understand what you need. You tell us about the ceremony, the venue, and what you already know you like. Nothing has to be decided yet and you do not need sketches. Most people come with a folder of screenshots, which is enough to begin.
Two weeks later
Moodboard and design
We send a moodboard: silhouette, fabric direction, and the details worth spending on. We go back and forth until the drawing is something you recognise, then lock the design so the pattern can be cut against it.
Five to two months before
Sizing and fittings
Four visits in all: one sizing session, then three fittings. Structure is settled first, then line and length, then the surface details that depend on both. Wear thin, seamless foundation garments each time, and try to hold a steady shape as the date gets closer.
Two weeks before
Finishing and handover
Pattern, cutting, sewing and finishing all happen in one place, so anything that needs correcting is corrected by the people who made it. The garment is reviewed as a whole and handed over, and we keep a window up to a week before the date for last adjustments.
Three to four months is the least we can take on, priced as express work and subject to capacity. Couples marrying outside Jakarta are welcome, and we work the arrangements out with you case by case.
